Mix in bowl high speed for 6 mins
3 whole eggs
3 egg yolks
1 tablespoon ovalette (more than full/heap)
100g caster sugar
1 pinch of salt
Mix seperately in bowl
65g top flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of milk powder
Add bit by bit in egg mixture while low speed till finish. Once all added, turn to high speed for 6 mins.
In a seperate bowl, melt 80g butter and add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
Add 1 teaspoon of red velvet emulco n mix (if u wanna do plain cake with nutella filling, u cn skip this emulco.
Pour into mixture and fold gently till all mix evenly.
Scoop 1 teaspoon into a bowl n add blue colour.
Divide remaining batter into 2 piping bags.
Prepare 10x5 or 9x6 inch baking tray (i am using 10x5) with baking paper.
Pipe on to the tray as shown in video for easy spreading evenly . Just spread lightly at the top with spatula to even it up. Easier this way.
Pipe blue colour batter on it and design as u like.
Bake in preheated oven for 20mins 170°C (top n bottom heat).
Remove from oven immediately and flip it over to remove the paper. Spread nutella / creamcheese filling and quickly fold the cake while its still hot/warm! The longer u wait, u might crack the cake or even worse, split into 2 when u fold!
Cool it and wrap. Store in freezer for 3 weeks or fridge for a week. You may consume when its cold or room temperature ... your preference!
